The Old Mill is a historic landmark building 1896 which has the history of Barkly East at it’s soul, having grown with the town and district from a working Mill to a guest lodge and Hotel and has served the town for over 127 years. The Mill has been fully refurbished , repainted and stands as a beacon of the ingenuity and endurability of our forebears for over a century. It can be easily converted at a low cost to a group home, has all the mode coms to continue a 21 st century lifestyle for members of the Barkly East community, to now serve its senior citizens in a safe clean environment while offering communal living and benefits of being close to all amenities .
